Mercedes Mone (Sasha Bank in WWE) departed the company in 2022. She was one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Naomi. Prior to an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, there was a creative dispute among other issues which had apparently been going on behind the scenes that many fans and wrestling critics were unaware of. This led to Mercedes and Naomi walking out of WWE, vacating their titles without looking back. Naomi made her return to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
